Recorded in early 2016 for the TV show America’s Got Talent. The talent scout for the show called Related Records and asked for funny/interesting talent in Phoenix, AZ that could try out for the show. They were specifically interested in Fathers Day and Dinosaur Love (who both tried out for the show) Part of the tryout was recording a cover of a current top 40 hit song and Fathers Day decided to do this Demi Lovato song because lyrically if it’s sung by an abusive father figure the song is pretty fucked up. They did not get a call back after this… I wonder why? You can watch the submission video on YouTube.
